Alexandra Maria Lara has been a Romanian/German television and film actress for a long time. Alexandra is known for roles in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. She was the sole daughter to Romanian actor Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra entered showbiz early and landed up acting in lead roles on various shows on television by the time she was sixteen. The Oscar-nominated film Downfall, her role as Secretary Traudljunge, Adolf Hitler's secretary was also critically acclaimed. Other Oscar nominated films featuring the famous diva are The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra is involved in many notable projects, both nationally and internationally.
