Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer, and director, famous for his role as the lead of Birdman. As a versatile actor, he can perform comic and dramatic roles. A multi-faceted actor who is adept in a variety of dramatic and comedic roles. He began to take an interest in performing and acting when the age of his teens and tried his hand at stand-up comedy when he was an adult. He had a failed comedy career but this paved the way to his successful acting career. Inability to make it in the field of comedy, he picked up a job as a television cameraman in a cable channel. He realized that his true passion was in front the camera while he worked at the station. Then he was able to get a television role and appeared in numerous seasons on Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was naturally gifted and quickly became a household name on TV. After establishing a successful movie career, his humorous appearances brought him plenty of attention. The career of his character was further boosted when he won acclaim in the role of Batman in Tim Burton's Batman. The actor grew in his craft in the years to come and then ventured into the direction and production worlds. The role he played in the 2014 film Birdman was nominated for numerous nominations and accolades.
