Christina Hendricks
Christina Hendricks was an American actress, best known as Joan Holloway. She played the role for seven seasons of the period comedy Mad Men from 2007-2015. The show brought her six Emmy nominations for the best supporting actress and deserved praise from critics. In the course of her 20-year career she also was recognized for her performance in comedy dramatic Another Period, a crime thriller dubbed Tin Star. For her work in movies, she has been noted as the voice of Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers: Prey in the Night Egg as well as American Woman. She has also provided voiceovers in animation films, such as From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 and Scoob!. Before becoming acting, she was enjoying a career as a professional model. Her first note-worthy part as a character on the comedy drama Beggars and Choosers. Following her appearance, she received praise for her role in Firefly. Esquire magazine honoured her with the distinction of being the sexiest and best-looking American woman for the year 2010 as part of their annual survey.
